Ralph Lauren has one daughter maybe more. Ironically, one of his daughters, Dylan, is the owner and creator of “Dylan’s” (Candystore). What started as a single New York City store has spread its sweets to airports, shopping malls and Bloomingdales.

Interesting.

On the one hand, the Lauren empire promotes outrageoulsy skinny women, and on the other hand it promotes sugar, candy, chocolate.

So what’s the message here? Eat candy as long as you’re a stick? Let other women be fat so you look even skinnier?

The photo you have presented of the new airbrushing is obscene. I choose this word with particular mentality. I’m in a Censorship class at my college and every week we talk about sex and obscenity and censorship and so on and so forth. We talk about who is targeted when it comes to Censorship laws: the children, the “young and impressionable minds”. I think its easy enough to connect the dots here- eating disorder statistics SHOW that the presence of this obscene material leaves impressions on said impressionable minds.

Its time to start censoring the Fashion Industry.
